We took the boat out to Madison Lake for the day. We enjoyed some fishing (no keepers we used Grandpa Elliott's rule). And the boys needed to try out some of our new tube toys. Yes, the water was a very cold 50* but that didn't stop anyone from getting in. Tanner & Rodolfo were the only ones who tipped the bowl. It was the foreigner's 1st time and didn't know which way to lean. But we all had a great time and made plans to head back out to the lake next Sunday. Hopefully the water will warm up a bit!

Oh the Elliott Boyz now have pigs E-I-E-I-O! The boys spent the weekend building a pig shed and putting up a fence. Side-pork & Tripod are all happy with their new home. We give names to all of our food here at the Elliott Ranch. The 3rd one, Pork Chop comes tomorrow. As soon as school is out they will also be getting some bottle calves from a dairy up the road from our house. If anyone is keeping track that is 1- foreigner,1-dog, 2 cats, 30 chickens and 3 pigs. No, Darin will not be getting the buffalo he has been talking about!

We finished up a very busy baseball week on Saturday. The Jr. High season is now done and Tabor has another JV game on Tuesday. So that will give everyone a week off before summer ball starts. Only 13days of school left and summer will be in full swing. The 1st football camp at the U of Mn starts June 20Th at 7:30 am.

Busy week of baseball here at the Elliott household. The wind has been pretty rough on all of us this week! Tabor plays tonight and Friday night and Tanner and Dalton have a tournament on Saturday in LeCenter. And then they finish up baseball on the 21Th. It is hard to believe there is only 14 days of school left.

Elliott Boyz go 4 for 4 at the plate to sweep the double header! Back at the ballpark again tonight for another double header. In the Jr high game Dalton (on 3rd base) is counting on his brother Tanner to hit him home. And Tanner gets a nice double (check out the ball) to bring little bro home. Then in the JV game Tanner got to coach 1st base as his big Bro makes it to the bag.

Saturday we had a house full of Prom dates getting their photos taken. And then that night Darin and I chaperoned the after prom festivities. We rented this human bowling game that was a big hit for the party. Hopefully this will be the last year the Elliott's are asked to chaperon, I'm getting too old to stay up till 5 am!

After a couple of days of rain we were back at the ball park. A little mix up set the JR high team take on the JV team from St.Clair. Take a look at the size difference! But the boys put a whooping on them in the first 3 innings and ended up wining by 1. Check out the look on Dalton's face when he thought he was going to get thrown out at 3rd. But he was safe by a mile!
