RANDOLPH - Dalton Elliott broke the Nicollet High School career touchdown record Friday night as the Raiders defeated Randolph 78-58 Friday night in a Southern Confederacy 9-man football game.
Elliott was 24-for-41 passing for 341 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed 22 times for 223 yards and ran for two touchdowns. Elliott now has 59 career touchdowns with three regular season games left to play. The old record was 58.
Matt Fisher had seven catches for 161 yards and two touchdowns. Ken Fisher scored two touchdowns, one of them was on a 95-yard kickoff return. Matt Christenson took that kick-off initially and then he passed it to Fisher who ran for the touchdown.
Christenson had 11 tackles and one sack
Nicollet (5-0) hosts Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton next Friday night.
