Raiders get a home opener WIN! Thursday night the boys swept Truman. Tonight we are off to Jaynesville for a 2 day tournament and the B squad will play at 8:00p.m.. Then Saturday we head to Prior Lake for full day of wrestling.

The season got off to a great start! It's amazing to see how much the boyz have improved from last year. They are both still wrestling kids that are older and weigh more. Dalton got his first "W" for the year beating a 8Th grader weighing 112lbs, 5-3 in over time. We stayed at a hotel in Albany with the boyz wrestling until 10:15 Friday night and back wrestling by 9 am on Saturday. The Raiders Boys basketball team started off a bit rough taking a loss at Sleepy Eye on Friday night. We are looking for some home court advantage on Thursday night.

Oh my gosh they past 2 weeks have been a world wind of events! We got a new baby cousin Justin Elliott and we got to take Colin to school for a carnival. Had another great pheasant hunt over the Thanksgiving holiday. Mom has had the house full of people wanting Christmas photo's taken. But on the bright side we have a fun filled weekend of Basketball and Wrestling. Friday Tabor is in Sleepy Eye and Tanner & Dalton wrestle in Melrose.

Mom turned out home into a holiday bakery! Wednesday night she had 11 friends come over and they all brought pans, bowls and cookie sheets. They came at 4:30 and finished up around 10 that night. They each went home with around 11 dozen cookies and treats. And we came home just in time from a movie to sample and carry stuff out to cars. By the looks of it she is going to have to do this again before Christmas because the fudge will be gone!

The first couple of days of opening deer hunting are in the books! It was so cold and windy this year the deer were not out in the open at all. By dusk on Sunday we had 6 deer hanging and 2 bucks needed to fill. This year the season go until November 16Th so we have another week to get those 30 point bucks. This year Grandpa was paying cash money for bucks shot and 1st deer shot. Tanner got the first shot with putting a hole in a does ear. He couldn't of done that in a million tries. Dalton got his buck shooting one in the left but check. Tabor had to be a big show off again getting 2 does. We did get to enjoy a lot of mother natures beauty Tamara should have left the gun and carried the camera. We found a tree on the 40 that had more pheasants in it than our apple tree had apples. That was a sight to see them all fly out!

We celebrated Khloe's baptism on Sunday at St.Edwards in Minneota,MN. She slept during the whole mass. Khloe wore the same baptismal dress that Tamara and Auntie Cherrie wore at baptism some 39 years ago. The boyz seem to enjoy holding her and they are always messing with all that long black hair. We are pretty sure Tabor can do a good Khloe impersonation with the lips what do you think?
