Wow it has been a crazy week of non stop sports! With all the hours at sporting events the Elliott's have gotten a cold bug in our home. The boys have been amazing going from practice to game/match and all the extra school events but it all came crashing down this week with Tabor,Tanner and Tamara all missing a day of school. But back at it to finish the week with a ball game in St.Clair on Friday, Wrestling in Jaynesville Friday and headed to South St.Paul for a tournament on Saturday. ( could this be why we would get sick?) Rodolfo got to wrestle his first match this week and did very well. Tabor's Knowledge Bowl team finished 28Th of 42 on Monday. Report cards came out this week as well. All the boyz did great.... still wondering how the oldest can get a "A " in Chinese but not in his own English language ? Can somebody explain that to us? On the other hand we are very blessed to have smart kids who are very active and we can't imagine life any other way. OH for you guys wondering how the dance went........They danced till 12 midnight and had a great time.

Tabor was chosen Snow Week Prince for the Sophomore class on Tuesday afternoon. The kids have a big week of fun planned. The week will end out with a BIG wrestling tournament here in town and a dance to follow. He had a good time at coronation and even smiled for a few photo's and everyone was whistling and screaming his name. And he's not getting out of going to this dance he has to be in the grand march.

Wow! Way to go Dalton that makes 2 Sundays in a row taking 1st place. Dalton traveled with Varsity wrestler Richard Michael's to New Ulm to attend a youth wrestling tournament. Thanks so much for helping out Richard! Looks like we need another shelf for the trophy's.

Meet Radolpho Menduz from Paraguay. He is 16 and will be staying with us till late June. This is the 1st time he has gotten to play in the snow. The 1st day he was here he never took off his snow pants. His English is very good and so far his favorite word in "Wonderful". What do you think of our weather? Wonderful he says. Um mm "Wonderful is 78* with a breeze and no mosquitoes.

Wow what a great day for the Raider wrestlers at St.Croix Lutheran in St.Paul! Every wrestler placed. Tanner had 2 pin's and 2 other wins to take 3rd. He's second pin was in 11 seconds! The best Tanner could do was 3rd because he had to wrestle his way into the tournament. Outstanding show by all the boys. Dalton was unable to wrestle on Saturday because it was a Varsity meet and he is only in the 6Th grade. But he will get his turn on Sunday in New Ulm hoping to bring home another trophy. Tabor and Radolpho stayed back so he could catch up on some sleep from the 30 hour plane ride to get here from Paraguay.

Just a few more finishing touches to Tabor's new room! The knotty pine turned out great we just need to get the flooring in and he's ready to move in. With all the cold weather the boys have been a big help inside with the remodel.

Very busy the first week back at school. Raiders traveled to Alden ( team who beat us to move on to state football) for boys basket ball and we blew them out of the water winning by 35! Then Tanner and Dalton had a tournament at Norwood-Young America and they both did very well. On Sunday Dalton had another tournament in LeCenter were he had 2 pin's under 45 seconds and won the final match 2-0 to take 1st place in the 108lb class.

We celebrated 2009 on Lake Sheitke ice fishing with Grandpa and Uncle Paul and our cousins. We had to test out Grandpa's new underwater camera. Dad missed a big one but later on Keagan got it. Mom and our Gramin (GPS) "Samantha" freaked out driving on the lake.
