Wow with the 78* weather today we are just days away from the first baseball game of the season. The boys got their uniforms today for baseball and we are just a couple of days away from the first at bat. With Good Friday around the corner we need to get the garden worked and ready to plant those potatoes. The boyz don't have school Thursday or Friday but are helping Mom out at school with some community ed events.

We defiantly can tell it is spring time by these photo's Tabor has taken of the critters in the back yard. In the past couple of days the water has gone way down. The short cut we use to get to town (dirt road) is dry. This group of snow geese and red heads are all paired up and laying eggs. It will be another month before we start to see these does have their fawns.

For the past three weekends Dalton has been busy wrestling in the NWYA. First it was Springfield then on to Lester Prairie for Sections. Then yesterday we spent the entire day in Lakeville for Regions. Dalton had some exciting matches on Saturday and ended up 3-2 taking 4Th place. Places 1-3 advance to state. It was nice to have some big school competition to see some new wrestlers. But in the past 3 years this has been his personal best taking 4Th honor at sections. It is time to put the singlet away for the season and loosen up the catchers equipment. The boyz have been in baseball practice for over a week now and have their first game on the 6Th of April when the Raiders travel to Waterville- Elysian.

This past Sunday afternoon Tanner & Dalton had a spring concert. Dalton plays trombone(blue shirt on end) & drums. Tanner sings in the choir and in the Keynote singers. This Wednesday they have a contest in New Ulm. Both band and choir are looking for a sliver rating. Tabor is anxiously waiting for the Dr to give him the OK to go back to sports. Baseball starts on Monday.

For the last 5 days we have had 40* plus weather and some heavy rain. So naturally the weight of the snow caused our big shed to collapse. What a big mess! Luckily we had not shut the door yet and were able to get the tractor & snow blower out. The Electrician has been out to cut the power to the shed. We are waiting for a contractor to come secure the rest of the roof so we can get a few things out. Everything that was on the east side of the shed is a lost. Gardening supplies, all my patio furniture,4wheeler,mower, tools and more.

From last Wednesday to Saturday we were with 25,000 other people watching wrestling at the Xcel Center. We saw some amazing moves and incredible kids from our section go on to be champions. Tanner got to warm up our state entrant but he was unable to make it past the 1st round getting pinned right away. So baseball starts on March 22ND, Tabor is still healing the elbow. Dalton wrestles for the NYWA District Qualifier in Springfield on Saturday.
