JANESVILLE - Nicollet's Dalton Elliott was big on both sides of the ball, leading the Raiders to a Southern Confederacy football win Friday night over Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton.
Elliott passed for 177 yards and threw for two touchdowns. He also rushed 37 times for 284 yards and 2 touchdowns, he accounted for 461 yards of total offense. The Raiders amassed 555 yards of total offense for the game.
Evan Guffey had four catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns. Lucas Gens also recovered a fumble in the end zone for the Raiders.
Defensively, Elliott had nine tackles and Matt Christenson had seven tackles. Guffey and Tanner Elliott also had nine tackles each. Kenny Fischer had an interception, including one late in the game when the Bulldogs were driving and the Raiders were able to run out the clock. Jay Hendrycks also picked off two passes.
Nicollet (6-0) hosts Truman/Granada-Huntley-East Chain on Friday.
